With the turning point of the American Revolution in the favor of the Americans being the Battle of Saratoga in 1777 and the eventual surrender of British General Cornwallis to George Washington in 1781, the Americans finally earned and gained the freedom they desired from the British. From the beginning when the Articles of Confederation were ratified by all thirteen colonies in 1781 through and through 1789 when the Constitution was ratified by nine states, the Articles of Confederation provided the United States with an effective government. unionism in India developed quite slowly as compared to the western nations. Indian trade union hunting expedition can be divided into three phases. The first phase (1850-1900) During this phase the inception of trade unions took place.During this period, the worki ng and living conditions of the labor were poor and their working hours were long. Many strikes took place in the two decades following 1880 in all industrial cities.These strikes taught workers to understand the power of united action even though there was no union in veritable terms. The second phase (1900 to 1946) This phase was characterized by the development of organized trade unions and political movements of the wo rking class. amidst 1918 and 1923, many unions came into existence in the country. At Ahmedabad, under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi, occupational unions like spinners unions and weavers unions were formed. A strike was launched by these unions under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi who turned it into a satyagrah.These unions federated into industrial union known as Textile Labor Association in 1920. In 1920, the First National Trade union organization (The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC)) was established. Many of the leaders of this organization were leaders of the national Movement. In 1926, Trade union law came up with the efforts of Mr. N N Joshi that became operative from 1927. During 1928, All India Trade Union Federation (AITUF) was formed. The third phase began with the emergence of independent India (in 1947). The partition of country affected the trade union movement particularly Bengal and Punjab. By 1949, four central trade union organizations were functioning i n the country 1. The All India Trade Union Congress, 2.The Indian National Trade Union Congress, 3. The Hindu Mazdoor Sangh, and 4. The United Trade Union Congress The working class movement was also politicized along the lines of political parties. Besides workers, clerical employees, supervisors and managers are also organized by the trade unions, as for example in the Banking, Insurance and Petroleum industries. Should Schools Be Able to Search Lockers

Should students storage cabinets be checked? I think that lockers should be checked because there could be medicines, intoxicant, and weapons in the lockers. Bringing all of this stuff to shallow is highly against the rules and against the law. These things could kill you and you could kill others. If students lockers were checked it would reduce the gun killing and interchange of drugs. Students lockers should be checked randomly. With randomly checking the lockers, students will not know what day they will be checked. They will never know when to puzzle the drugs, guns, or alcohol out of the locker.Keeping drugs, alcohol, and guns in your locker is not a good idea because if you tell anyone they are there they can break into your locker and steal it. They can go and sell it or shoot someone and say that you are the one who gave it to them. Using drugs or alcohol can stupefy you do stuff you do not mean to do. Having guns can order you to shoot it, and want to kill things. L ockers can be checked by the schools because it is school property. The schools should be able to check all lockers so that they know what kind of stuff they have in them.Every year there are less drugs and alcohol in schools, because of locker searches. There are less school shootings going on in schools that do random locker searches. If your family has a history of drug or alcohol abuse it can lead to you doing then because you someone else doing it and you think that makes it ok. Searching for drugs or alcohol can make the school a better place to be . By searching lockers it will put bad people in jail and get kids expelled or suspended. Having school locker searches will not only allow the school to be safer, but the state too.It will let the students know not to buy drugs and not to nourish them on school property. The lockers belong to the school so you should not keep items in them you dont want others to see. If there is a kid that is doing drugs it could influence others to do it because they may think that it is cool. That is why I say yes to random locker searches in our schools. It would make our schools a safer place. It would also make kids think double before bringing drugs, alcohol, and weapons into our schools.

Punjabi is also spoken as a minority language in several other countries where Punjabi people have emigrated in large numbers, such as the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, where it is the second-most-commonly used language and Canada, where it is t he fourth-most-spoken language.There were 76 million Punjabi speakers in Pakistan in 2008, 33 million in India in 2011, 1.3 million in the UK in 2000, 368,000 in Canada in 2006, and smaller numbers in other countries. But now-a-old age the trends have changed in India. Western Languages are proving very influential. People try to learn different languages like Spanish, German, French and to prove themselves superior they speak side in gatherings. Even Sikh families have stopped speaking Punjabi because their children learn Hindi and English in their schools and they are not taught Punjabi. In Foreign Countries like France, Spain people speak French and Spanish respectively . They even do not speak English amongst themselves.And this is the only reason why people of different culture and language try and learn their language. Punjabi was very widely spoken in older days when people knew the value of Punjabi Boli. But now number of Punjabi speakers have reduced. If this remains the scenario the time is not far away when Punjabi will be one of the nonextant language in the next 15-20 yrs. It should be the responsibility of parents and grandparents to teach children their Mother Tongue and they should not rely only on school and tutions.
